Background
Elaine has been singing and performing on-stage since the age of six. School and church choir was where she found her voice, becoming the youngest member of the local community college chorale at the age of 14, when she sang in her first Messiah. Her first musical theater role was as a singer and dancer in Carousel, also at the age of 14. She went on to solo vocal performances in church and throughout high school, notably as Aunt Eller in Oklahoma! her senior year.
Elaine’s love of musical theater took her to the local community college with such roles as Lucy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Marion in The Music Man; The Housekeeper in Man of La Mancha, and Sister Mary Leo (on roller skates!) in Nunsense, The Second Coming!
After taking time off to marry and raise a family, Elaine went back to college in 1996, receiving her AA Degree in Fine Arts from Victor Valley College with an emphasis on Music and Theater. She took that momentum and enrolled at the University of Redlands, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music in 2001.
2010 was the year that she decided to see if she was marketable in Hollywood and has been “all in” ever since. Her first role in “the big city” was as Mrs. Martini in It’s A Wonderful Life at the Sierra Madre Playhouse, where the production received excellent reviews and an extended run.
Elaine is thrilled to be available for casting in film, tv, web series, voice over as well as theater. Semper Gumby!!!
